Munich Frauenkirche
The Frauenkirche (whose full name is Dom zu Unserer Lieben Frau, Cathedral of Our Dear German Lady) is the cathedral church of Munich, the Bavarian capital (Germany). Located in the city center at Frauenplatz, 1, the Catholic Cathedral is one of the most important tourist attractions in the city.
Today the cathedral and the New Town Hall dominate the city center and its towers can be seen from all directions, thanks to an order from the Munich Town Hall that prohibits any building of more than 100 m. The south tower of the cathedral can be visited offering a panoramic view of the city and the Alps.
